The Brutal Broadcast is the Brain child of Director/Producer Joseph Tolley, who vehemently supports the local music scene in Florida. During the Late 80′s early 90′s he performed as the vocalist in such bands as ACHERON (pronounced Akeron, and not to be confused with Acheron pronounced Asheron, hence the band name change to) DETRIMENT, and after some Line up Changes they Became INFIX and opened for such Legends as MEATHOOK SEED (a Side Project containing members of both OBITUARY and NAPALM DEATH) and DISINCARNATE ( One of Guitarist James Murphy’s Bands) and Finally after leaving Infix started COUNTER CULTURE in the Mid 1990′s, before retiring to raise a Family. He Spent 16 years working in the Sign Industry, Climbing the Ladder of Success until he Reached the Vice presidency of one of the most prominent sign companies in Tampa. Doors were opened from his connections that led to him starting his own video production company, Aggressive Filmworx, after producing many commercials,Music Video’s, and an Independent Film in 2007 for a Local Sci-Fi Author, He won a Contest for Editing green screen footage into a music video for Epic Records Recording Artist MUDVAYNE for the Single DULL BOY. His Passion for the music has never left and so it was he Contacted (his Once former band promoter) Dave Allison (aka Death Metal Dave) with his idea to put together this web show, to help Support the up and coming new Bands and to Promote the National and International acts that had shaped his life so greatly.
